also own a 91 300zx TT it is taking up a lot of time, money, and space right now. it is basically stock and is down right now getting megn racing test pipes, down pipes, exhaust. Then z1 intake and hard pipes. Also, repainted.

plans for vert... for now it is getting some body work done and repainted. as soon as it comes back from the shop it is getting roll caged. Next winter it is going down and i am putting in a vg30dett.

Amen to cmkelly's first comments on page one of this thread! 49 on January 1st. (Yeah, I am the reason for the parades and parties associated with that day) I have had GTO's, Buick Gran Sports, Ford trucks, Chevy Trucks, as well as athletes foot fungus for longer than some of you have been alive. My love for my vert comes and goes as I find new and different things wrong with it, but overall, it is one of the better decisions I have made involving a vehicle to throw away money on. Still, if the right Corvette deal came along.....

c'mon man, don't bash too hard... at least she's (or most often her boyfriend) not ricing it out with altezza's and fart cannon.

She could have a husband whose smart and letting his young wife drive the sports car until she get sick of not having room for groceries, and he graciously takes it off her hands. (No, I've never done that )

55 and a grandma. Have had my car for 11 years and it has been the best car I've ever owned. I plan to keep it forever! I've had 3 Corvettes since I bought this 240, but there's nothing like her for a daily driver.

I don't guess I can say much anyway, I had an FC at 15 and got my first 240 coupe a little before 18, I was paying about $100/month on it and my parents picked up the rest (note: the 240 was $14k with 23k miles).

35 and the wife a little older.

+1 for the maturity, I didn't think you were all so young. I guess I am jaded with other forums where everyone is a punk kid.
