Alright folks time for a new forum game called versus, where each page will be dedicated to two cars, and two cars ONLY. first post of each page has the right to choose the cars in the face off.

the objective is to simply compare cars, their pros and their cons ( if the poster desires).

example

1st post

Silvia vs Supra

2nd post
I choose the silvia because i'm a fanboy

3rd post
I choose the silvia for its looks.

each page winner will be decided at the end of the page. simple enough?

ok, First page!

First off, I see this thread going other directions than its intended one.

Second, Evo. Because it has a 4G63 and I've seen 1000 HP be almost daily driven.

Lancer for its looks, 2, for its rarity at least around where i live (eastern PA) this place is loaded with stis, and subarus in general, evos are a real rarity, only the same 1 i see on maybe a 2 week basis.

oh did i mention evo styling looks more like a killer instinct and aggressive.

I also will go for the Scoobie. Looks better and I'm a massive fanboy. I just generally think they are better cars.

gonna definitely go with the evo only because i'm in love with EVO 9's. IMO, that's the best styled EVO ever.

EVO because I'm tired of subies. But, I hate both. Evo because Mitsubishi made the planes that bombed pearl harbor. I do not like the way the VW motors/Subie Motors are built. I think that requires to much thinking.

Plus I've heard of them blowing piston rings at 35k miles.

EVO takes my vote. Because when they are mod'd they put down some serious power effectively and are slightly rarer then the subies.

Ive got just about 100k on my STi and only done basic maintenance and replace both rear wheel bearings. not too bad I must say. I heart my Subie.

Well I wasn't speaking for everyone. Just some things I've read on EJ25/EJ20/subie forums. I wouldn't say they all do that, but I've seen a few on there.

Isn't anything different from a 6MT G, where the clutch goes out in 25k miles, and sometimes the whole transmission. lol...

STI because I always feel awkward in the EVO. It feels awkward in left hand drive. When I sit in the US passenger seat, I feel like I should be driving from there.

I'd probably pick the Subaru because I love the way they sound. That and I think the H4 is just kinda neat in general.

Also, my experience with Mitsubishi has been less than spectacular. Don't get me wrong, it's not been super bad (most of my problems can be blamed on Chrysler), but it hasn't been good enough to make me want to buy another Mitsubishi.

I'm going with the STi too, because we never got the EVO VII in the States, so screw that RHD BS. Ontop of that, the EVO VII is the blandest looking EVO in the entire lineup, IMO. Plus, I don't wanna open my hood and see my engine sitting sideways like the EVO.

The bugeye can look great with the right aero add-ons. Those muscular fenders are to die for... Plus, I've always loved how they respond to mods and how torquey they are.

Sidenote: Hey, how many posts can NICO fit on one page before starting a new one?

I agree evo is way to bland.

But if we were talking current models, Evo>STi

(think the post limti is 32 per pg)

Never seen a decently fast scooby. I've seen quite a few crazy fast evos. I would take the 4G63, crank walk and all over the EJ20 hands down. In the looks department, they each have their moments.
