Man, it must be nice. I was at an Exxon and this lady in an Expedition, I think, was talking about her gas and how expensive it is to fill up. And I kind of bragged about how good my car is on gas. She fell in love with it. Thats the only love I've received.Ever Victorious wrote:No hate... just the opposite, I got stopped at the gas station a couple times and complimented on it.
Kinda the opposite with me. People at the gas station ask me how many MPG I'm getting. Then they usually say, "Is that all?"TrustME wrote:Man, it must be nice. Surprisingly I haven't had any yet. I say surprising because I live in the heart of Automation Alley in Michigan, and many friends and family members either work for one of the big 3 or one of their contractors or suppliers.TrustME wrote:Has anyone been a victim of pointless hating on the Versa? I was at a local car meet. Its a pretty well rounded place, not too much of one car (Except Integras). I found myself pretty much defending myself all night from verbal hate from a lot of people. "Nice car, does it come in man?" I did think that was kind of funny, but not toward me. Ha. I was just wondering is the same thing has happened to others?
Ha, thats true. but i live more toward the country redneck zone and i think girls like it more when you play in the mud with your truck.Ever Victorious wrote:There's a lesson to be learned here.
You can either play in the mud with your truck, or pick up a chick in your Versa.
Bleh! I really dislike the Fit.pr1nce wrote:There aren't too many Versas in Vancouver. Lots of Honda Fits though
Humm... I've noticed the exact opposite. Too many Versas in Vancouver, particularly around Kitsilano and Kerrisdale. We wave and smile at each other. Most drivers I've noticed are women though. I remember a mom and her young son pointing ecstatically at us because we had the same trim and color.pr1nce wrote:There aren't too many Versas in Vancouver. Lots of Honda Fits though
Actually I agree, I think they look very, very similar. However, a friend of mine has repeatedly stated that he's very glad the Versa rides better than the Matrix, he hates it apparently. I've never ridden in one myself though.Prospekt wrote: Funny, because it was a toss up for me with the V and the Matrix, both about the same price, except base matrix and SL Versa. I decided that SL Versa > base Matrix. My brother has the matrix and surprisingly, side by side they're the same size.
I'm surprised on this, but it seems that chicks LOVE the V. I'm talking about the HOT ones too! I have yet to come across a female that didn't like it V. It's kinda a chick magnet. Yeah, I know it's not a Bimmer or Benzo or what not, but it gets the job done!ace rothstein 81 wrote:when I first got the car, every single woman that saw it said it was cute.
