I installed a Versaspeed grille about a week and a half ago as well as wrapped my intake manifold in heat reflective tape to try and keep it colder (reflect engine heat). The first tank I got about 350 miles on the tank before the light came on. Second tank, the light came on a 347 (was this morning). Previously it would come on at ~330.

I'm a skeptic, so what else could have changed in the last 1.5 weeks to justify the change? Has anyone else with a grille experienced this?

Maybe just one of those things. For a while I got about 320-330 miles to a tank then all of a sudden it kept coming out to 350 and even one time, 360 miles to a tank. I've done nothing to the car. Maybe the engine just took that long to break in completely.

i always get 360 to the tank, and i drive the versa pretty hard. i get to 360 everytime i fill up. the best ive gotten (i babyed the tankd) was 444 miles and THEN my empty light turned on. i was a long was from home, i knew i could of broken 500 but i didnt wana risk gettn stranded. i can drive a comfterble 60 miles on my empty light then i can go fill up again.
