VERSA XTERRA RADIO SWAP
My wife drives our 05 X-terra "S" 4x4 and loves it, but has the standard radio which imo is crappy. I have the 07 V w/ Audio pkg and am thinking about upgrading more speakers and head unit. Can I put the V head unit in the X-terra as they are both double din? The R/F woofer in the V should fit in the speaker compartment for R/F system under backseat in the X-terra but who knows.

Give it a shot... The worst that can happen is that you just have to swap everything back...

She's perfectly happy with a dash mount sat radio and a basic system...she's good like that. I just thought if I was possibly replacing mine (which I'm not even really disappointed with) I could upgrade hers at the same time with limited expense. Win Win
