There was a picture posted on a forum and I'm sure it was here that had a Versa shown from the right side with a Sun Roof and Door Moldings as well as maybe wheels and tires.

I've looked for this picture to view as I have found a place to buy Door Molding. I'll put them on myself. Still, I can't decide and am hoping the picture will give me some ideas about size. shape, etc.

If anyone remembers the name or the post would you please advise.

Thank you for the reply. Just what I was looking for. What's embarrassing is "I" had a post on the thread and didn't remember.

No problem. I'm lucky if I remember what I had for breakfast. Which one of the moldings do you like better? The Tiida trim from Japan, or the aftermarket? I couldn't decide.

Without going back to the thread, I don't know which was which. I like the wider one I think.

I went to a car repair shop and asked about getting some put on. "Sure" he said. and showed me a list of what is available. I picked out one I thought I would like. Asked him the total price with him putting them on. Wham Bam, liked to fell from my chair. $329.23 was his price and no less . Shook his hand and left.

Was searching the Internet and found a place that has lots of trim for sale. Offers pictures, both side and end view. They run anywhere from $50 to $85. They are in lengths of 13 ft with each end finished. Two pieces come at the above price.

I decided on a particular type. My Grouch decided on another. So she will shut up I'm getting what she wants. 1 1/4 inch wide with three seams. The inside seam is black, sort of leather appearing while the upper and lower seams are a thin line of chrome. As you might guess, these are the most expensive ones on the list.

Will probably order them tomorrow.

Yeah, I think I liked the wider one too. The one on the Japanese site looked like 80's Econo- car.

Hey, I had posted the picture of the Versa with the side molding and sunroof. Honestly, I think you would be able to install the molding yourself for less than what the "experts" charge. My cost was 200.00. The molding itself cost around 80.00. I chose the wider molding because some idiot had put a ding in my drivers door and it would have cost 200.00 to fix the ding or 200.00 to cover the ding and help prevent future dings. Do a web search for automotive molding and you should be able to find it. Best of luck.

I think the molding on your Versa looks good. I ordered the 1 1/4 in with black in the center and chrome border. Appear to be about the same as your vehicle. I'm sure I can do the job OK. I also order a Dash Kit with 60 pieces of molded Walnut. Now that could be a headache putting on.

I gave $77.00 for the door molding. Should be in next week.

Thanks for the reply.

Got my side molding today. While I was busy Grouch put them on for me. She did a good job, see photo below. Am trying to see what a piece of the molding would look like on the rear bumper. That's the place that most "back-in-to" would happen and skin the bumper covering.

Looking for opinions.
