THE POTHOLE...

I ran into a big one this morning. The right front tire hit the brunt of the pothole...the tire and wheel looks alright...but the steering wheel is slightly turned right - maybe a cm (when going straight). When I straighten the wheel, the car turns ever so slightly to the left. I'm having it looked at tomorrow, but I was wondering what you guys think is the problem/damage...

Wheel alignment maybe.Big potholes tend to have that effect on cars.

I'm going to guess the same. It's not uncommon to need an alignment after bumping into too many concrete parking stops or curbs at low speed.

Yeah that was my first thought...I really hope all it needs is an alignment. I'm going to ask them to take a quick look at the shocks and struts as well. I was going approx 50 km/hr when I hit that crater of a pothole...I HATE POTHOLES!!!

I got a wheel alignment today...everything seems good so far. I did have a question for everyone. After an alignment, should the handling be identical to the handling pre-pothole? I don't know if it's just in my head, but my car handles alittle differently when I'm turning...is this normal?
