Do you think the versa looks better with a sunroof or with out one?

I think sunroof is always better for any car...

I don't think a sunroof changes the look much. The unit is well integrated into the car so it doesn't stand out. The utility of the sunroof is great, especially here in the southwest. I just wish I can get the sunroof without having to take every other option packages.

I'd actually say that it looks better minus the sunroof. Now would I mind having one? Not at all. I probably would have gotten one had there been more than one available. The only one the dealership had with a sunroof was black inside and out and there was no way I was getting that. My Maxima had a sunroof and I think it looked better with one than without, but on hatchbacks, and the Versa in particular, I'd say it looks better without one.

Where I live it is hot about 9 or 10 months out of the year and the sunroof is useless. We have one on both autos because of the system of upgrades that require somethings to be included in packages that you don't necessarily want but have to get to get the things you do want.

I would have liked to got my Versa without the sunroof as it has only been opened a couple of times and the cover rattles if I don't keep it cracked open.

I've never had a sunroof before but I always wanted on. So when I had a chance to get a Versa with one, I figured I should go for it. So far I love it

I really believe a sunroof is all personal preference. The first vehicle I had with one was the Jetta I owned before my Versa. It was so awesome that I swore I would never own another vehicle without one. Some people don't like them because it lets heat/cold in more then a fully insulated roof.

As far as looks, I don't see one looking better than the other.

My motorcycle has a huge sunroof. I wish it had a rain roof.

I have a Mini with a panoramic (second stationary glass panel) and my Integra has a small sunroof as well. I've had many cars with them, both pop-up (rear edge lifts), drop down (rear edge drops in) and even a combo (rear edge pops up and then drops in to open - 95 Golf). And regardless of where I've lived, I drive around with the rear edge of the sunroof popped up. It's great for air circulation, getting rig of hot air (it rises ya know), and rain has never come in. I love that. I can and have lived without a sunroof but I wouldn't given an option. The one thing that is important is a good solid shade in the inside of the sunroof. The Mini has a stock mesh screen that pulls across the panels but even with the roof closed, it does little to shade you from the sun. When the sun does shine in Seattle, it can be quite intense.

Over on the Fit forum, people are complaining they don't have an option. If you have the money and you can find one, do it.

with the SL and the sunroof, you get the premium material headliner. (otherwise you get the premium material on the seat, but the base material on the headliner)
