Actually, yes, if you are a skilled electronics technician, you can do anything you want to your cluster. One of our members attempted to change the LEDs in his cluster (they are LEDs by the way). He wound up destroying the thin printed flex circuit. My rule of thumb; if you have to ask how to do it, you should not even attempt it until you either have a replacement ready to install, or have worked on several "junk" clusters from other vehicles. If you do not know how to properly use a soldering iron (for detail work,) or if you are not familiar with flex circuits in general, I would strongly suggest you leave the lights the way they are.
