Versa Speaker Wiring

First off - I apologize if this has been discussed in a previous post - I searched and searched but couldn't find anything.

I am wanting to splice into my passenger side back door speaker. Is there a wiring diagram available anywhere? All I need to know is what color wires I need to splice into? I know I could remove the panel and look at the speaker - I figured this would be easier though.

2008 Versa SL - 6 Speed - PW/PD (about 8 wires bunched together)

to be totally honest, i forget which color was what... even tho it was less then a week ago that i installed speakers, but if you need to know, pop off the panel and the wire closest to the front is ground....

you could always hook it up one way, and keep trying til you get it =p

not the safest way, but it does the job. haha

You can look in the service manual, available here on the website.

According to the manual, at the speakers the wires for both are light green for positive and green for negative. At the harness connector (M43 on the head unit), the left speaker is pin 4 (violet) for positive and pin 5 (red) for negative. The right is pin 13 (light green) for positive and pin 14 (green) for negative.

If you're coming off somewhere else in the harness, you probably should check the manual to be sure. (At one point it changes to white and red for the left speaker, and then at another to the light green and green found at the speakers.)
