Car: Versal SL Hatch Auto Powder White

Hi, folks. I've owned a 2010 Versa SL CVT white exterior black interior for about 6 weeks now. It's my third Nissan/Infiniti, and it's a great little car.

I have noticed that the interior of the SL tends to get warm more than other cars I've owned. Air settings for outside airflow, coolest setting, mid-to-almost-hi fan, and 10 minutes later the interior is warm. I've found that I've had to roll down the windows with this car more often than not (or turn on the AC, which is overkill for the generally cool weather -- I drive in the cooler evenings).

Anyone else notice this?

Yup, I feel the exact same way with my 2011 Versa SL CVT. Bottled water gets wicked warm pretty fast, too. I turn the A/C on more than I thought I would, even in fifty degree weather.

I noticed the engine runs quite hot in these cars compared to others....that will translate into warmer air getting into the cabin.

I've also noticed a warm interior. (Magnetic Grey, exterior) I got my 2010S hatch in early Sept. and it really hasn't been warm enough to test out the A/C. Looking at the car though, it has a lot of glass area which translates into solar heating. Sitting at stoplights on a 60 degree, sunny day, I can really feel the sun coming through the windows. Also, the glass in these cars doesn't seem to have all that much factory tint on them. My '95 Altima, that i got rid of, seemed to have a more efficient tint from the factory.
