just wanna check and see if this happens to anyone else. ( I think it might have to do with not letting the car warm up when first starting the car in the morning). So I have to drive 30 mins to and from work. Usually on the way home i'm hauling *** just b/c i've been at work for 12 or 13 hours (irrelevant info my bad) so i noticed when i get home, I'll stop...then put it in neutral...then pull the E-Brake, and RIGHT before i kill the engine i'll feel a slight Shudder like there is a loss of power to the motor or something. It doesn't happen every time but maybe once a week. does this happen to anyone else? if so, what is it?

Mine does this if I don't wait until the engine is completely shut down before releasing the clutch, but it sounds like your situation might be a little different.

Yeah, I have the 6Spd Manual as well... and yes, I have experienced the same thing..

It's nothing serious, just that the variable valve timing system is a dual variable valve timing system, meaning that it works on the low and the high torque bands (i.e. the exhaust and the intake). When you drive for a long time, the camshaft timing is quickened so that your car doesn't burn as much gas and runs smoother, but when you decelerate to a stop, it has to readjust for the new need for low end torque, thus revving the engine a bit in the transfer.

OR

If you've been driving in the city, the camshaft timing is delayed, allowing for more fuel to enter and a stronger combustion, thus more lower end torque (once again). That means that your car will temporarily idle at a higher RPM.

Cool bro, thanks for the info. That puts my mind at ease now. I thought I was dogging the car out or something. Big ups...later
