alright, sup guys! :) im new here and this is my first post. i have a 09 versa that i bought about a month ago. its a 1.6 i believe. :) well to the topic, lol i changed the knob. i havent see almost any on how to do this so here it is. i just pulled up on the stock knob and it popped out. then the plastic piece, ugh wat a pain!!!!!!!!!!! but i got it out, idk if this wuda worked if i wuda done it first, but w/e. i found that by getting a wrench, and twisting it and pulling up, it took a bit but i eventually got it out. then, i got this one http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... 731wt_1165 and it didnt fit........................................... -_____________________- but!, i got the size 10 adapter and stuck a knife in it and twisted it so it wud make the begining of the hole, just a tad bit bigger and then put it in the knob and just hit it down with the wrench and it fit perfect and snug. then the reverse lock would not go up. so i decided to cut the top part of the piece where u put ur fingers. now, to reverse i just grab below it and it works, but its not too much of a good grip, but w/e its a temporary fix. im waiting on a blue shift boot so wen i get that im going to find two little 90 degree "L" shaped pieces and either glue them on or screw it on with a small screw so it would be a good grab wen lifting it. pictures WILL definitely be up as soon as i get the boot so stay tuned! :) :mike

I have a 1.6 sedan and I've been wondering about this as well. Do you know which boots will work on the Versa? I have a similar knob but I'd like a simple/neat boot.

Scion shift know on a Nissan? Are they universal fit? I'd like one but I'd like it all black, or maybe black with silver stiches?

alrite, they came in. horrible horrible horrible pedals. i took them off as soon as i figured out HOW to put em on. there wer no instructions and they had grips on them, like cleats. but i usually roll my foot off the clutch, with these my shoes would get stuck i had to do it in a straight motion. and then the boot just wouldnt fit. i tried cutting it and nothing. ugh. i know one guy on this forum put on the boot, i just couldnt. :/
