We just received notice today from Nissan Canada that Versa Sedan production has been suspended until November to allow for increased Versa hatchback production to keep up with demand for that model.Nissan also reduced financial incentives to customers because of high demand for the Versa.

I guess we're driving a winner!

Here in LA some dealers are giving deep discounts on the sedan. I've always thought the hatchback looks better and offer better functionality. I've been hearing rumors of a price drop on all Versas but no idea if there is any truth to it.

Indeed, the whole reason I bought the Versa was because the utility of the hatchback.

Same here. I like small cars, and the Versa seemed to be the most usable of all of them, and a great price.

funny because in LA, I see mainly Versa sedans. Or shall I say I see the Versa Sedan on the street more so then the hatch. But then again there is someone up the street from me with a Sedan.

Well, if they suspended Sedan production - that just means that my Sedan will be worth more when I trade it in in about 20 years.

Only if you garage it and only drive it to church on weekends.
