Greetings Everyone!

Just some observations... regarding my new Versa...

Traded my 05 Sentra in for it 7-24-07. They gave me top $$ for it anyway.. enough of that.. here we go!

VERSA....

Ride: Softer.. more comfortable... Won't handle as well at higher speeds. More prone to the wind.

Acceleration... Despite both having a 1.8 engine ( I know Nissan redesigned it) the Versa can maintain higher speeds. up hills w/o downshifting.. where my Sentra would not.

SENTRA

Ride: More harsh. Not bothered by high winds as much. Prob. handle a curvey road better at higher speeds.

Acceleration: Sentra not as high end. Reaches peak torque and h.p. lower RPMs. Downshifts more.

I know this is not a professional review, just a few observations on my part.

Both Sentra and Versa have 4 speed auto transmissions.

For comfort.. all around car.. I'll take my Versa!!!

Best...

Bob

Nice contrast. The Versa is primarily my wife's car, but it's the vehicle we take 99% of the time that we all go somewhere together. It's funny...I've heard others mention that the Versa is "pushed" by cross winds also, but I've never really noticed it. But to keep it in perspective, her last vehicle was a Scion xB. It had the aerodynamics of a barn.

I also found the Versa sensible to cross wind but not that much when I consider heigt of the car.
