I don't think the S has the harness pre-wiring like the SL so I would think the answer would be no, but I'm not 100%

You can run a better HU. You can get a stock HU out of an SL WITHOUT convenience package and it will work fine, giving you the 6-disc MP3 changer.

But you cannot refit a stock sirius or XM unit into anything less than an SL with convenience package... not even regular SL's have the satellite prewiring, and it cannot be refitted.

So if you want satellite on your S, you're probably best to get an aftermarket unit and tuner, or (I can't remember if the S has a front aux input) use a Roady/SkyFi.

It doesn't.

You're definitely better off getting an aftermarket HU.

Like others have said, you're only option will be to replace the HU. I have a S and I think it's stupid that there was no radio upgrade option. And I didn't think it was worth the extra $$ for the SL just for the option. I ended up replacing my HU with a radio that was 10X better for roughly the same amount as the factory radio.

I second that. My DPX-301 is flawlessly better than even the SL radio, I couldn't say that I don't think you'd be unsatisfied with an aftermarket replacement rather than going out of your way to get the SL radio.

Get a plug and play Sirius radio instead of a factory installed car radio. FIrst off you will be able to listen to it in your home if you do. Secondly the in dash radios do not show the song information. With the small radios that you can buy from Best Buy or Circuit City, you can see the artist and song title. Wont have to get a new stereo at all. However I recommend buying a FM Relay that wires it into your antenna so that the sound quality would be better. Or get one of these kinds of Sirius radio and a new head unit that has an Aux In. You can go directly into the stereo that way and get the best sound quality possible from Sirius. That would probably be cheaper than the Nissan radio with Sirius.

I already tryed to use a fm modulator but it was impossible to get a forward and reverse antenna adaptor when i installed it. places are just starting to get them now. Versaspeed just got them in today.
