I don't really agree with the results. The whole article they complain about how the Fit is overpriced, is underpowered, interior is meh, but it handles the best. How they decide that is qualification to be #1 is beyond me. Thankfully 7,000 people every month don't read MT and buy the Versa, double the Fit and Yaris sales. We'll see how the Fiesta sales do when it shows up on lots around the USA.

I think the Fiesta is cute, and the fact that it comes in 'magenta' makes it even cuter. A few friends of mine have gone to look at it for the fact that it comes in pink, but after sitting inside and driving it, not one has liked it.

I saw it at the auto show this past February and found the interior to be kind of cheap looking. Also it's very tiny inside. The hatch is so much smaller than ours. I've only seen one on the road and they've been out here for a few weeks at least.

I've always thought the Versa is better looking than the Fit. As far as handling, the Versa handles well for public roads, that's all I care about. I'm not flogging this thing, it's a commuter car, an econobox at that.

Nissan Versa. Ahhhhhhh, nice...

Honda Fit. No thanks.

Doesn't the Fiesta have about half the cargo space of the Versa? The MPG would be nice, but I need more space...The magic seat of the Fit would be cool, but rear passenger leg room is more important.

You guys are funny, at first glance I thought those two cars were exactly the same, then I noticed the difference in the front and rear ends and other subtle details but man the Fit and Versa look very similar. I don't see how you can love one and hate the other, I prefer the Versa over the Fit but it's pretty close.

Even tho i like the Fit's subtle re-style and handling, it's too small and waaay overpriced.
I needed Fit drivers seat all the way back and my head still just 1/4 inch from roof. And overpriced.
Fit too small for my passengers, too, and overpriced.
Fit switchblade seating is neat when salesperson demonstrates, but overpriced and PITA in real life.

I had choice on same used sales lot between Versa, Fit, Yaris hatch, Golf, Focus hatch and Vibe/Matrix, all w stick.
IMO, Versa was so easy to pick First Place, it wasn't funny

JUST IN...new Car and Driver comparo between Fit, Fiesta, Mazda2 [guess who 1st place  ]
Again, I would enjoy handling all three, but just too many shortcomings compared to Versa :chuckle:
And the overpriced Fit's braking distance is LAST.
When shopping for your overpriced Fit, check for front end damage!

Okay, breathing again, rant over...

Take a look at a Fit when it's driving towards you on the opposite side of the road. It looks like some awkward space creature coming at ya! That front end nose is so long and pointy ... yuck! Plus no option for a sunroof! The Fit may have the magic seats and a larger trunk space, but the rest of it is not very large inside. I'd rather have lots of passenger space. Makes going out more enjoyable in the Versa! :D
