Hey guys, i checked the forum, and still am not clear on the topic. I just changed my oil for the first time, i wanted to change the oil drain plug gasket with a rubber on from autozone. the gasket that they have on is a thin copper one, and i wasnt able to pry it off with a screwdriver. Any suggestions on remobing it, and are the rubber gaskets better or shoudl i go to the dealer and get these copper ones instead? Is the copper gasket a one-time use or multiple? Thanks for the help!

I use the copper one from the dealer. It is suppose to be one time use, I have heard a few members re using them though.

I would go with the metal washer. Wouldn't trust the rubber one.
