Versa/Nissan meet-up in Columbus Ohio

Hey guys, I know I haven't been real active over here lately, but I've been trying to get on a little more and thought I'd share this from over at the other forum. We're trying to get a big meet-up going with as many Nissan owners as possible, so where better to advertize it than Nico? Originally, it was just a Versa meet, but we're open to other car owners coming as well. (as long as they're not hondas! jk) So here are the details so far:

We haven't set a date yet as we're still trying to feel out how many people are interested. It will be happening this summer, and right now we're looking to see if a local Nissan dealership would be willing to provide some space for us to all meet up and "show off" our cars and what we've done to them. Of course, you don't have to show off, you can just come and enjoy the scene. Some ideas for other "activities" include: autocross course, bbq, and car show with prizes for winners. This of course will depend on how much interest we get from members.

Since Ohio is pretty centralized, we're hoping to get a decent response from some of the neighboring states. I will be traveling from Maine, so who else is in?

A tentative date has been set for the meet! We are looking at meeting up on July 28th. It is a Saturday. If you are interested in coming, please send me a pm so I can add you to the list of people who are going. We want to keep track of everyone so we can get an accurate number of people who will be attending. Thanks!

Bumping this thread up guys. Please shoot me a pm if you are interested in attending this meet! We have around 7 people from other forums who have also expressed interest in the meet. We'd love to see 10+ Versas there! Also, if you know other Nissan owners in the area, ask them too! We're opening it up to other Nissans to try and get some more people to go.

I have the place set as Germain Nissan in Gahanna, Oh. Have spoken with the general manager is he is more than glad to provide us space. Anyone interested is more then welcome to join. Just let us know.
