Does anyone know how to remove the "versa" off of the rear hatch? I like the idea of having it centered below the hatch release latch. Any help is good help!

Four items:

1. 3M Adhesive Remover.2. A hairdryer.3. Dental floss.4. ScratchX or any other swirl remover. (Optional, but recommended.)

Heat up the badges until they are really hot, then spray on the Adhesive Remover. Let it sit for a few seconds and floss the badges off while somebody holds the dryer at a distance to keep the heat constant, but far enough away that your hands don't get burnt. Once the badges are off, there may be some adhesive left: just use some more Adhesive Remover and wipe it off with a microfiber or a soft terry cloth. Now apply the ScratchX and work it in. Wipe if off immediately after you are done working it in and around.

Ok, so I can only help you with half of it, but I've never had to put badges back on. There should be enough adhesive left to reapply them, just make sure you level it out if it is jagged. Heat up the badges until they are SUPER HOT and place them in the desired position. Use a strip of masking tape as a guide to keep the badging level.

Okay, it's not as complicated as Jemdawg has it...

Takes about 17 minutes... I've got my version of the process on my CarDomain

If you use Undu, those buggers pop right off w/o marring the paint... If you're careful you can reuse the adhesive. If not you can use a spray adhesive or you can cut and use 3M car tape which I've never had any difficulty finding (the good stuff had red backing last time I checked).

I opted to remove the adhesive that was on there and go with the spray so that they sat flush.

*shrug*

I didn't have to use any scratch stuff afterwards.

You can still do the floss method with the Undu... it would be tons easier than having to pull out a hairdryer or heat gun... and if you let the Undu dry on the back of the logo, the adhesive will be sticky again.

Keep in mind this will void the warranty on your Versa emblem.

Motoguy: ROFLMAO!!!

It did take me about 17 minutes... I swear... It's all on my CarDomain. From removing, to cleaning up, to placement (including pictures) took me from the time Josh left to pick up my perscription and when he came back I was finishing up spacing the letters (the spray adhesive allowed me to move them slightly up till the point that they dried so it was really easy to get them lined up right) and the aren't going anywhere. (the next day I tried to pull them off.. like really tried... and they didn't budge.)
