I've had my Versa a couple of years. I recently got a new cell (LG Vu). It is on Nissan's compatible cell phone list. Although the phone did pair with the Versa Bluetooth, I have a problem placing calls quite often. The Bluetooth will take the number or name to be called and say “dialing”, then nothing. Sometimes the radio comes back on, sometimes just silence. The dealer checked and said it’s not the car’s Bluetooth. AT & T says it’s not the phone. My husband also has a LG Vu and is having the same problem. We had Sony Ericsson phones before and never had a problem. Is anyone else having problems with LG Vu phones or other 3 G phones?

My wife and I both have LG phones, mine an enV and hers the model you have. I had no problem pairing mine to the bluetooth in the car but she never was able to pair hers. That said, attempting to place a call through the bluetooth in the car is so poor that we don't even bother with it. It simply is horrible at recognizing voice commands.

We no longer have them linked. My wife uses a bluetooth earpiece and I just flip my phone open and use it as a speakerphone instead.

Agreed. I get complaints from the other end that there is a lot of road noise in the background which makes it hard for them to hear me. I just don't bother with it anymore. I just wish the bluetooth would play music from my phone like it does for a bluetooth stereo headset.

I use Samsung Blackjack II. The pairing is no problem and the call quality is good. However, my Versa (2008 SL) has problem recognizing my voice command, even the word "call".

I did the voice training procedure from user manual (took about 15 minutes) and it only worked for about 7 days. I have not bothered to re-do the training.

By the way, I have the car for about 9 months now. This is the only problem so far...

My V is an '07. I have an LG Chocolate. I was having all kinds of bluetooth problems. It would do things like dial a totaly different number from what I had said....even though it had repeated the correct number back to me. I finally got fed up and took it to the dealer. They replaced the bluetooth module and I have had no problem since. People tell me that the sound quality at their end is way better too. I would demand that your dealer order a new bluetooth module. If the phone is on the compatible list then Nissan should make it work.

Hey, I don't have an LG so I can't help you there. I have always had Motorola phones paired with my bluetooth, and not one problem with it. It's one of my favourite features of my V!
