1. The gas cap itself is NOT locked, but there is an inside release for the door over the gas cap.2. I have a Versa SL. There is no Trunk/Hatch release on the inside of either the S or SL.3. At least in the U.S., the Floor Mats are an option. At the moment, Nissan only offers CARPETED Floor Mats for the Versa, but there is talk about Nissan offering Rubber mats shortly. In the meantime, for rubber mats its left up to 3rd party brands.4. In the NHTSA Crash tests the Versa received 4 Stars ratings on both the Driver + Passenger Frontal Crash Test, and 5 Stars on both the Front + Rear Side Crash Test. Rollover was at 14% I believe.CALGARY wrote:-Is the gas cover locked (is there a rls in the car?)-Is there a trunk rls in the car? I'm in Canada. Not sure if its a Canada thing or not but my Versa SL came with floor mats.CALGARY wrote:-What's all this talk about floormats, are they not included? I'm in Canada, maybe it's a US thing?
On an SL with convenience package, having an inside trunk/hatch release is kinda pointless, because the trunk release button on the trunk is a soft-touch that opens the trunk very easily with one finger.Link3 wrote:

Well, my friend who bought a Magnetic Gray Versa S from the same dealer I did my SL, did NOT purchase floor mats from the Dealer. He opted to go to Wal-Mart and get a $25 set. The wife was given her choice by the same dealer whether or not she wanted to buy the Nissan floor mats with her red SL - and she did elected to do so (otherwise the dealer was going to subtract the $150 off of the window sticker price).Ever Victorious wrote:Quote »

"Option" is in the eye of the beholder. Nissan charges you extra. I have yet to see a car WITHOUT this "option" yet.
