I own a 2008 Nissan Versa and I'm wondering if there is anyone out there who has had the same problem I've been having. In the past year, I have had to replace my headlights because the left one has gone out, it's always the left side. The plug that the light goes into does not seem to be loose and I use electric gel each time I replace the bulb. My BIL does not think that this is an issue yet, but he did acknowledge that three times in a year is still a coincidence, but on the verge of being something else. Any ideas as to what I can check?

What brand bulbs are you using; some that are extra bright are notorious for failing very early.

You know, I haven't kept track of the brand of light. Something to be more aware of!

If you were using Sylvania Silverstar bulbs there is a lawsuit for their failures.

Are you using gloves when you change out the bulbs? If not, oils from your fingers will get on the lights and cause those spots to heat up more than normal which could lead to premature failure. :mike
