Versa HB Problems opening

HI, I have a month and a half old versa HB and just noticed that I have intermittent problems opening the rear hatchback. I try clicking on the remote twice and then clicking on the batchback release, but it does not always work.

Does anyone have this problem? Does it have anything to do with the cold weather?

Try holding the release button longer - press/hold ---> and it should release.

If you cannot hear the actuator when pressing the button (without holding it down, just press the button and release it) you may have a defective button or actuator solenoid. It should be under warranty, I'd have it checked out. Make sure you can duplicate the problem, otherwise, the dealer may shrug it off.

Haha, just a quick question, I have a 1000watt 12' sub in the truck, with that make thing trunk popper thing go bad? lol i know its a wierd question but i thought id ask

If you somehow managed to mess with the wiring that leads into the tailgate, or if the sub box is so large, you have to force the gate to close, than yes, it could cause problems.

nah, its not the box part, its that fact that i like my music loud, so generally the sub is loud, i was just wondering if maybe it would screw up the locking thing as in if i was to push the button, it wouldnt work. but so far i have had no problems with it, was just wondering if it was a possibility
