Thank you so much!! Um do you think White Lithium Grease would help if I sprayed it over the latch???williamk10 wrote:get someone to drive while you're in the backseat facing the hatch door and feel your way to the sound.
Mine rattles like crazy. I actually took off all the panels last night in order to find it. I also took off the covers for the rear strut tower as they were loose and could vibrate while going over small bumps. i'll let you know if that solved anything
Ontario roads are 10 times better then what they call roads here in B.CiluvmyVersa08 wrote:Mine only rattled within the first couple of weeks of ownership. After that, no rattle.
The only rattle I do hear, is my sunglasses in the sunglass compartment beside the map lights. Other than that, no rattles with the V.
anything new to report?williamk10 wrote:get someone to drive while you're in the backseat facing the hatch door and feel your way to the sound.

well that is not what I wanted to hearwilliamk10 wrote:No, it still does it. I can't find it. However, I did find some metal shavings from when I had to drill holes on top of the hatch to install the OEM spoiler. There could be a bigger chunk of metal hiding in the hatch somewhere, buzzing around as I go over bumps.
I think we can all conclude the only way to get rid of the hatch rattle is to buy a CF hatch.
lol I did the same thing but used rubber grommets a few nights ago, was driving me crazy...fixed my rattles in the back.nimda wrote:I live in Omaha, and me and the wife own a versa. I don't drive it... she does... anyways, I have over 50 Sq feet of dynamat in the back hatch area of mine, it made the car A LOT quiter, but the plastic rattle was still there.... (that's not why I put dynamatt in anyways) BUT... I took a scrap piece of automotive carpet, and put a little RTV sealant on it, smear it in a bit... and then tuck it between the plastic and the metal on the inside of the hatch. That helped A LOT...
