Hi, has anyone experienced a no throttle response to thier CVT transmission? I came home one evening to find my gf's car stuck in the snow. When i jumped in to try to free her up, the transmission shifted into gear but there was no throttle response (the wheels where not moving when applying gas)Is this by design or a flaw? Anyways, I shut her down and restarted and everything was fine.

Did you try turning off the VDC? Supposedly when trying to get a car out of stuck snow you are supposed to turn it off.

It's a 09 SL hatch model, not sure if it has VDC. Can anyone confirm?

we have ABS available, but I don't think VDC is an option.

I have VDC on my 2010 SL HB CVT. Have a button next to the mirror controls to disable it if I need to.

I had to go check my info (thanks Rob ). My 2010 info says "ABS & VDC are now STD for 1.8 SL trims, OPT for 1.8 S trims". I think 2010 is the first year it's available. i don't show it on 2007-2009.
