Has anyone installed any type of body kit with pics of it?? I'd like to see what others have done to their car. Below is a website i found that supplies parts for the Versa in Vancouver. Has anyone from Vancouver order any parts/versa body kit from them? If so, how much did it cost you all together?

just want to give my opinion on vis parts. by no means of what im saying am i trying to "sell" anything on the forum, so moderators please dont take my opinion in the wrong way ive just had experience in selling a lot of fiberglass parts in the past and some from vis also.

VIS picks great kits to duplicate. the problem is most of all the kits ive sold in the past, do not fit at all. i use to be big in the lexus scene selling body kits and the kit they had for the sc300/400 did not fit at all the side skirts was about an inch and a half short, the front can go on but didnt look right like it was off to the right or left which i cant remember. the rear was about the only piece that fit "ok" on the car.

now with that said, here's a defense to my own statement. I myself have a private line of products in fiberglass manufacturing for scions. i dont plan on doing versa stuff at the moment but if there ever is a need to do it im sure ill become a site sponsor. anyhow, the old quote "fiberglass is fiberglass" is not entirely true. making the mold to the person laying the fiberglass is all what determines how the final product comes out. the parts that i make myself i fit and make sure they are good for the mold that is going to be made. now with that said, the mold should be about 95-100% dead on. when the production pieces start getting made, sometimes the part is pulled out too early which is what causes initial warpage on the piece. those i toss in the trash or find funny uses for them. but i make sure the original piece fits perfect that the mold was made from.

with vis parts i dont know how their QC is but in the past it wasnt to my expectation. i use to sell their parts but since i ran across those kind of problems i stopped and started distributing other companies fiberglass products which i have not had any problems with. The extreme dimensions B2 kit for example fits like a glove. how do i know this? i have it on my car and can vouch for it. but yeah thats my 2 cents hope it helped your thoughts on the kit a little. dont get me wrong that kit is HOT.

Well, after reading that post, and looking at the pictures, it seems to me that this is just a knock-off duplication of the impul kit? The car in the picture has Impul on the side, and they have a note in all caps about how the picture is for illustration purposes only. The grill piece isn't even included.

I'm always willing to accept a cheap knockoff of something as long as the quality doesn't suffer. The only time I'd accept so-so quality is if the price was REAL cheap (something I just couldn't pass up). So, I guess it depends on what the price is on these.... maybe I'll give them a call later.

I'd be curious to talk to some body shop that has put these knock-offs on to see what they have to say about them cause I wonder if their quality has improved since M2 dealt with them.

Oh,btw - does anyone know of a way to set certain posters to 'ignore' on this forum? I don't see the button for it that I would normally see on message boards, but I figure I'm probably overlooking it.

I just picked up the extreme dimensions full body kit and will add a front splitter to it after the install plus some ducting for the brakes etc. so when I get done there will be pictures on the versaspeed blog/pictures area...........don't like to take up NICO's bandwidth! So with a little luck in a couple of weeks at least one of the kits will be shown in all it's glory on a street car..lol!By the way jquick, I'm in LA and love Hockey so good luck in the playoffs with the Canucks! Luongo 4 MVP.

That is a bad looking little versa, but for your V to look like that you better have alot of zoom zoom to back up that look. I don't think much is available right now in the zoom zoom department, but when they do, I'm in...
