Versa Antenna Mast Stolen

Some jack@ss stole the antenna mast off my wifes versa.. and I dont know where to find a replacement.

Its just the part that screws off on the top of the car, I dont really know what its called im guessing its called Antenna Mast. Does anyone know where I can buy that replacement part? Im sure nissan wants an arm and a leg for it.

Is there any way to prevent another loser from taking the new one?

Sorry to hear this. My older brother actually mentioned to me on the first day I got my Versa, that people steal those. Luckily mine is still on, the things that people keep taking from my Versa are the valve caps.I am not too sure where you could get one. Ebay maybe? or a salvage yard?

sorry to hear about what happened... hope it doesnt happen again... anyway, you can probably get a cheap one from ebay... id suggest to get the one that looks like a shark... i saw one @ ebay but i cant find the link anymore... but good luck... hope u find one for a cheap price...

Usually its two reasons.

1. Someone stole it from their car.2. They effin suck and are @ssholes.

Do a search for antenna. Its $24.61 + $10.00 s/h.

I bought one of those short antennas off ebay for $10. It didn't fit (left a gap, wouldn't screw down all the way) and didn't work very well. Got static reception. So don't buy this one.

People have no life, and have no respect for others.I have had 3 sets (that's 12 individual) valve caps stolen. I don't know where or why they are getting stolen. I know it's not at home because I park in the garage. I now have cheap black ones on, so far they are still there, if they get stolen again, I might just leave it with nothing.

It just amazes me. Especially the valve caps. I guess people are too effin stupid and pathetic to spend the VERY little money it costs to buy plain jane valve caps so they steal them?

Lol yes exactly!Regular black ones cost about fifty cents from Wal-mart, and the chrome ones cost about 99 cents.Honestly they are super cheap, but people kept stealing the chrome ones! People simply do not respect other people's property!

In Ontario never buy the chrome stem caps they will get stolen the minute you go the the store.

How ya doing luvMV? yeah, I had nice caps on several cars and would notice one or to missing, these were not your average garden variety caps, slightly different, just enough to know they were mine, anyways I saw them on the local youngins bicycles, and asked them where they got the nice caps, they nearly crapped themselves, one of the parents was outside their home when I questioned one of the boys, and immediately gave their son a good rash of crap...

anyways, I would pass out chrome generic caps to the kids for there bikes along with any cool stickers and whatnot, all is golden... hahahaha...

now I just keep the original caps on, no biggie...

years and years ago there was a gang of two round my home town who stole gas caps one afternoonit seemed like fun at the time, and they got most of them returned. just saying kids do odd stuff for fun

Hey!I'm doing good. Still lovin the Versa. She's at 26000 kms now ... and will be 2 years in April '10.

And I just have the black plastic caps on now too ... haven't had to replace those yet. Still miss the chrome ones though
