I don't understand why states still waste their money on this. I work for the DOT here & it has been tossed up a few times, but the cost to benefit is not worth it. They are even looking at ditching the emmisions testing & setting up mobile sites that flag dirty cars & sending them tickets.
I have had a cracked windshield on my Xterra for 3 years now. This summer I think I will replace it since it is 6 years old & very pitted.
