Hi guys,
Sorry to bother you, but I was looking around the web for a replacement spring for my front bumper. It gave into the Northern weather and was eaten away by rust (or so it seems). Can anybody recommend a site where I can find the right spring (hopefully also an affordable one)?

Are u driving the sedan or hatchback cause I'm not sure if the springs are the same. I ordered from this site a couple of times already and they are fast on shipping. Here is the hatchback ones.

Thanks for the link! Yeah I'm driving a 2009 Hatchback. I was going to call the mechanic and see how much he was going to charge for the labor. I believe he said they order the part or something along those lines, so I wanted to see if his price was way too high or decent

Well called the mechanic and got a quote for $922. Apparently they have to replace both springs (120 ea) + labor. Seems like a ton of money to me :wtf2:

922$ WTF lol get a new mechanic.

The springs cost 60$ each, and with two its 136 plus shipping on that web site i linked. You can buy these yourself and shipped to your place and bring them to a new mechanic. 922$ is fuking insane to switch out just springs do they serve you breakfast lunch and dinner while your are there too lol, even that wouldn't make the 922$ price. I swapped out the Versa springs with lowering ones and its cost me maybe like 100$ plus maybe a bit of tip for my mechanic. Im sure you have find other mechanics that would do it for cheaper.

Yeah no joke, freaking ridiculous. I ended up getting both springs from the Nissan Dealership and a friend replaced them for $100. Great work and he was freaking fast too. Thanks for the offer btw!

Hi, I have a Nissan Versa 2010 SL hatchback. It has 40,000km. I live in Canada. Both of the front coil springs are broken. My car is at my local Nissan repair depot. I have been waiting for almost 8 weeks for the part to arrive. I call Nissan Canada and my local Nissan repair depot every week asking for an ETA for the part. Thus far Nissan Canada cannot give me an ETA for the coil springs. This is beyond frustrating. Does anyone know how I cant get the attention of senior management at Nissan Canada?

The coil springs in my '09 Versa snapped last year at 42k miles. My mechanic got ahold of some used struts and charged me $300 some for the job. I do worry how long they will last since they're already used haha. He said it was easier to replace the struts then just the springs.

Now I'm trying to find a performance exhaust since my muffler fell off yesterday at 57K miles lmao. Unfortunately I can't seem to find one for a sedan that I wouldn't have to modify.

I was very surprised that one of the front coils broke in our 2007 Versa. The replacement was cheap though. It was very easy to install. I unbolted the strut at the top, lowered it and slipped the new spring on. Very easy job and not worth $922 that the OP was quoted.
