versa 1.6 gas mileage

thinking of getting my son a 1.6 and was wondering what kind of real world mpg's it gets.

Im 17 and my dad got me the 1.6It really depends on how your son will drive it, on my last tank, i did some freeway driving and didnt shift over 3500 rpsm when i was driving on streets, and i averaged 27 MPG, which is the same as the EPA estimatesits easily possible to do better

im sure you could get 30 MPG just in the city

I have been getting 30-32 with my 1.8L, so I would assume your son would get roughly the same or possibly better.

The EPA numbers are easily achievable. A heavy foot will get you a little lower than the EPA.

I was getting 32 the first 1600 miles or so city driving. But my break in period ended. Now i've been getting 28.6 - 30.

edit: it's gotten lower because i've been holding it in gear longer. damn catback =\.

hey my manjust bought a 1.6 and u travked fro orlando to boston doing 85 the whole way and acg 33.3 mpg and it took 5 tanks from orlando to boston

I got him a moped,, it got stole. kicked him out,, he came back. OH WELL!!he's my friend and my son now, funny how things work out.
