Lately Me and a few friends on the east coast have been having problems with Verizon's service..
i cannot send any text messages or receive them, and i loose COMPLETE signal from time to time for 30mins at a time.
just wondering if this is affecting more people than my friends..
my friends live in SC, and Michigan that are having this problem, at first i thought it was my phone, or that they just cut my service for some reason.
Anyone else having this problem?

Its not a Blackberry is it? BES is known to have occasional blips.

Everyone in the house has Verizon and we all have different phones. No one is having issues.

Your local tower could be having issues.

Never hurts to take it in and ask. Have them check your phone for all the latest updates too.
