I noticed on the Infiniti bluetooth compatibility web site (http://www.infiniti.com/bluetooth/) that the only listed palm treo for the M35/45 is the 700w, not the 700p. Interestingly, both the 700p and the 700w are listed for the QX56.

Anyone had success using their 700p with an M35/45?

Well this is far from a direct answer, but the web site list doesn't seem to be complete - my Verizon Treo 650 Palm with the updated OS works great with an 06 M but isn't listed.

Don't go by the website. They are either out-dated, or BS. I have never had a problem pairing any of my phones. I now have a Treo 700w, and works great! (but it ain't a P)

Zero problems using my 700p. It worked perfectly after the initial setup and no trouble yet.

But I have to say that I really don't think bluetooth is really wonderful. Half the time people I talk to while using it say, it sounds like you are in a wind tunnel, or just plain, I am having trouble hearing you. Anyone having great success with bluetooth?

I have a Verizon Treo 650, works OK but not great. Bluetooth is on and off. But I like the Treo for its multifunctionality so I purchased a Motorola KRZR just for the car. Verizon has a family plan so that you can get just one bill and it is not much more. The KRZR is just a phone and does that well (much better than the Treo). The phone is small and is plugged into the adapter in the armrest. You can pair both phones with the car so that if the Treo rings you can answer it using the car or you can call forward your Treo when in the car.
