KICKS ***.

They take care of you and make sure you are happy. When a screw fell into Sean's RB25, Venus got us a RB25 gasket set (OEM Nissan) to our door in a week free of charge. I just got my 1JZ Chaser clip and its awsome, they got me everything i ask for. The motor that was in the clip had low compression in cylinder #6 so they gave me an entire new tested 1JZ longblock. So i have a $1500 longblock as a spare ready for a build up.

So if you are looking for a RB clip or motor set, DON'T WAIST your time with anyone else. You just can't beat the $1800-2000 price and the service at Venus.

End-of-story.

Good to hear you have had good luck with them. I wasn't impressed with the clip they showed me when I asked for what they had in stock. It was an R33 RB25DET clip that was smashed (Bent crossmember) missing ECU, MAF, and a crushed IC for 2K!!!??? I guess I asked them at a time when they didn't have anything.

I should be getting my RB20 clip from them Monday. They already threw in another radiator because I said it looked messed up in the pic. You can't beat the price either. The stupid trucking company was supposed to have it here yesterday. I'll let you know what it's like when I get it.

i heard alot of negative things about venus though... IDK about those guys...I just checked out the site and i seen a 95/98 RB25DET for $1800+shipping, I clicked on the picture and i seen what appeared to be the clip and then i checked out the other RB25DET front clip which was the same clip so i was like hmmm...that seems kind of weird to me...

I have heard mixed reviews on these guys. My suggestion is, if you know anybody who lives close to them have them go check out the engine for you. You never know what you are going to get and what surprises to expect. However, they have covered their bases rather well. When they make a mistake they correct it as fast as possible.

Just remember, you get what you pay for...

I got my RB20 clip a couple days ago. First off... shipping was just stupid. They send a 9ft pallet that weighed 1550lbs on a huge 18 wheeler, but it only had a 5ft lift gate. You do the math. After a couple hours, we managed to cut the pallet and balance it w/ my cherry picker/ jack to get it down.secondly... last night, I was tearing into it, and I noticed that the intake had standing water in it. I tore alittle further into the clip and discovered that the throttlebody also had standing rusty water in it. The turbine blades are covered w/ a mixture of mud and rust. I'm going to call them tomorrow about it after I try to clean it up a little. It might come off. I dunno. Other than those two things, the shipping company sucks. I HATE GI trucking. They could only come at 10:30a.m. while I was in school. The only plus is that everything looks pretty new(64,400kilometers) and it cost me under $2000 to get it to my house (I had to pay the truck guy a little extra) but hey, if it cleans up, I'll be one happy guy. I'll keep you posted...~Tony

I am not saying that rb25's are 6 or 7k. But if they were would they be better than Night's. Prolly not, all I am saying is just because Venus sells a clip for 2k or so, doesnt mean that they are junk!!! Mckinney sells rb25's for 4500, does that mean that they are better than Night's???

same here, i had to pay an extra $200 to get my clip from thier wharehouse because they didn't have the equipment to lower my chaser clip (2000lbs) in my garage. this of coarse is after they lost the clip for 2 weeks.

GI TRUCKING SUCKS.

I haven't had a problem with Venus-Auto and I've been purchasing from them for about a year. Whenever I've had a problem I just call them and they've resolved it. I definately would recommend them. Beside I haven't seen too many other companies with their prices. Whenever I've had a problem I've always talked to Vickie. She's always tried to help.

thier price for a rb20 doesnt seem that bad, but the shipping would kill me.. ive read mixed reviews about them too, i dont know.. i would rather go with a company that has more good than bad reviews

i'll rather just take the drive out to after-dark sometime and check out thier engines, spend 1k more and ship it home myself, probably end up saving one grand or more..
