I want replies of people who have had 1st hand or 2nd hand experience with them (either you've dealt with them or like your friend has).

I will be getting a couple motorsets from them...are they good people? Any info would be appreciated...and yes, i know they were in sport compact car.

Also ive been quoted $2200 a motor...that seem a little high for them?

A friend of mine ordered a J-spec turbo engine for his MR2 and from what he tells me, their service has been pretty good. The first engine they sent him was making a knocking noise when he got it installed and they sent him out a whole new motorset free of cost.

I just met a guy yesterday that bought an s13 red top front clip from them a couple months ago and he said the front clip had a smashed intercooler and the engine did not have any compression and they wouldn't replace it for him. He is not pleased!

I didn't actually do business with them, but I was about to. I was supposed to get a redtop from them, but I was told that the motor would be a certain amount minus a wholesale discount (because of my company) plus shipping, but they had to get my paperwork before telling me the wholesale price.

Well, I sent the paperwork, they lost it, sent it again, hounded them for a week and finally was quoted a price $100 MORE expensive then the previous quote. That didn't make me too happy so I chose to take my business elsewhere.

The choice is your's.

Everyones prices have gone up. The SCC motorset was probably March or April of this year, because the issue was May or June. I called them and they quoted me like 2500 or something close to that for a Red Top front clip.

Nope he had to buy a seperate motor from a local engine importer and buy a new intercooler core off of ebay and still swapping.

Probably a promotional deal. They give discount to a magazine or something because they know it will come up in an article (advertisement).
