venting blowoff valve to atmosphere

so i was just wondering if i use an infinite q45 or 300zx maf sensor on my 91' ka24de-t can i vent my blowoff valve to the atmosphere using this sensor?????

not 100% sure but i belive as long as your not using a hot wire maf you can vent to atmosphere with no problems.

ive seen this info a few times but presonally i have no hard facts to back this up its only information ive picked up on forums and internet web sites.

only way that it won't fail is BLOW-THRU MAF SETUP. You can vent to air but your maf will go wacky due to the system not reading the loss of that air charge. I say reroute!
