I'm looking at buying a vented hood for my 92 coupe and want to know if it will interfere with anything under the hood when it rains or when water runs into the vents and into the motor. It looks like from the pics of it that it will only be running onto the fan guard or the intake tube. Any kind of info would be helpful on this.

the hood is here:

http://www.tspracing.com then go to hoods/fiberglass/nissan

Thanks.

If it is an authentic vented hood from Japan, then the vents should be where the water will not do any damage. If it's a copy of a Japanese hood or worse, copy of a copy... then I don't know...

Usuually the vent will be where a little watter will not hurt anything...correct me if I'm wrong.. I am just going by whant I have heard not really researched it though...
