i am going to make a vented hood for my S14 and i notice alot of the vents are in front of the engine and not over the engine to let heat out, should i make mine in front or over??? and why are the vents in front seems weird??

help!

lets the hot air from the radiator escape instead of circulating back into the engine bay.
