Vented CF hoods

What are some options on vented CF hoods? The only one's I've seen have the vent up towards the front of the car, near the radiator. Has anyone seen any vendors with vented CF hoods with the vent more towards the back? I've heard of some turbo KA-T's having overheating problems back there, melting insulation and power steering pumps.

Would having the vent further back near this spot be significantly effective? Has anyone seen CF hoods like this anywhere?

you could leave your stock hood and put some washers ont eh hinges

there was a thread about it a while and how many washers it took to make it stick up x" high
