vent???

on the 180sx center console, theres a tiny vent below the radio. i have no clue what its for. im shaving some things off the interior before i wrap some of it in suede. does the vent serve a purpose?

The vents are where a tube that connects to the digi-con runs to. It detects the temp of the cabin so you can adjust the climate controls.
