vent seat noise

is it normal for the ventilated seats to have a noise?i am looking at a 2006 m45 and i noticed that when the ventilated seats are on, there is a humming noise from the fan motor.i do not hear this on my other car (lexus ls).

If you set them to level 4 you can hear the whirring of the fans... a humming though... if they're bearing fans you could lost a bearing... you might want to have it checked.
