The vent under the driver's seat just keeps blowing and heating/cooling system is off. Checked the manual and didn't see SPECIFICS on blower under the seat and how to rectify the issue. Anyone can point me to how to trouble shoot and fix this? The rest of the system works fine.

When the fan on climate seats blows constantly it usually means the control unit has a blown FET in the fan driver circuit. Check the power connector to the C/U (usually black in color) for signs of overheating on the ground wire. It may be melted into the C/U socket if things are far gone. Depending what you find, you may need to repair the seat harness along with a new C/U.

OK, just want to make sure you're using the same language as the manual. Do you literally mean to check the "control unit"? Because the only control unit the manual mentions is the AV Control Unit behind the dashboard which outputs signal to the unified meter A/C amp. Or do you actually mean the unified meter A/C amp which is in the same place? Or are you using the term "control unit" for something else that is somewhere else?

Thanks.

The climate seats aren't actually part of the HVAC system, they each have their own control unit, fan, and two Peltier elements (Nissan calls them TED's). One Peltier is in the seatback, all the other stuff is beneath the seat.

No, this isn't the seat heat/cooling system, this is the vent blower underneath the seat blowing to the back seats of the car.

Then I'm confused. There's only one main blower motor on an M, and that's under the dash. Unless you have some sort of weird air leak into the ductwork under the seat, it's pretty much impossible to have air blowing from one foot duct and noplace else. This is the flow diagram, you can see that all the foot ducts are fed from a common source:

I feel a level of stupid I've never felt before smh. It was the damn seat set on cool, I never looked there because I never expected that. The 14 years I've had this car I've never noticed that the thing made a blowing sound like that...I guess because when I used to drive it in the summer time I had the music up so much I never noticed. Sorry for wasting your time, thanks.
