venom performance

has anyone used the venom performance module? what do you think about them? are they worth it?

I don't know if there is any difference, but I used to have a Neon and the Venom moodule for that was known to be a pile of garbage with only minimal improvments in performance.

All it does is advance your timing, you can do that for free.

how do i do that and what kind of gains do i see from it, sorry if its been asked/answered before.

It has, but no worries. I was trying to find a thread that had a pretty good write up about advancing timing. This one is pretty good, but kind of vaugue http://ka-t.org/tech/if you are advancing your timing, you MUST run 93 octane fuel. And if at any point you hear pinging, wether its during the adjustmetn of the timing itself, or driving, you will have to retard timing back a few degrees.

do a search and see if you can find a more detailed post on how to actually advance timing. I sorta know how to do it, but since i've never done it on my car, I don't want to give you any misinformation
