Has anyone with a KA24E own/tried the Venom 400 Performance Control Modules. This is their claim:

" These Venom 400s increase horsepower by 25 percent in the 1,000 to 5,000 rpm range and reduce delay when you mash down your throttle. And because they only kick on during increased engine load, they don't affect fuel economy under normal driving conditions. They'll work with preinstalled performance chips, have an off switch to preserve smog certification when not racing, and require only four electrical connections during installation."

I was wondering if these things actually work. I would expect that they do because venom is a rather large name but I just wanted to know if anyone has actually used one before.

I had it on mine (I have a DE) but there was really nothing to it.

It was when I was still an automatic, so it made a slight bit of a difference shifting (pretty much like having the overdrive off).

I sold it to a guy with a Saturn.
