VENOM 800CC INJECTORS WONT START HELP

hey guys i have a r33 gtst and i just installed venom 800cc injectors but before installing them car ran fine but after i installed them car fired up one and sounded like it barly wanted to stay on just rocken and then i turned it off but after that i try to turn on wont like u can hear it wanting to turn over but dosent and also smells gasy in the garage soooo i was woundering is it that it needs to be tuned for the injectors cause right now iam running a apexi power fc soo if u guy had any thing like this happen let me know thanks

Venom injectors are junk. When I was messing with injectors every day, we had several sets come in that were complete garbage. They would leak under pressure with no signal going to the injector. Some would drip constantly. Others looked like a garden hose when they fired. I dont think I ever tested a set of Venoms where every injector showed acceptable performance.

Did you just install them and not retune the pfc for the size difference?

oo wow never knew venom were like that because they came with the car brand new in the box with the fuel pump and yes i just slap them on with out touching the pfc

You can't just install them without retuning the pfc. Set the injector correction ( something like 0.46) and you need to find out the latency correction.

Pull those pieces of junk back off immediately. I went through two consecutive sets that were trash. I had to basically throw them away and buy something else.

Good luck finding your latency.

As Eh? said, you do have to correct for the injectors with your power FC.

buy denso injectors.. </thread> Find a US vehicle that has the same injector as your motor, call a specialty fuel injector company. Ask for US vehicle but with desired cc's x 6 with connectors. Bolt in and be done with it.

For instance. I called AUS injection about my RB20 here in AZ, said, "hey, I need new 800cc injectors for a 1989 Nissan 240sx, times 6." The man said,"that's a 4 cylinder." I said, "I'm aware of that but I need six with new connectors". Boom.. done deal. Shipped to my shop a few days later. I installed them. Set the correction in my power fc for E85 and those injector sizes, cranked it over. Gurgle gurgle pop.. then a steady idle. This was two weeks ago. Piece of cake.

go to a tuner and have them fix your car. you are only going to make it worse because you obviously dont know what you are doing

seriously i heard that Venom arent that good from supra guys, i think i am going to do with rc eng injectors
