I searched for a while, and did not find anything teribly usefull about where to get pistons for the KA.

I am trying for a daily driver here, so i plan to be NA. That being said, my rings are starting to go, and i was thinking some slightly higher compression pistons are in order.

However, i dont know where i would find pistons for a KA24DE that yeild a compression of 10.5-11 : 1 ??Please help me find a piston vendor!

The only other thing being done to the engine is a 240 degree intake cam from a 96 altima. To be used as an intake cam giving my '97 a set of cams with 240/232 durations.

As well as an extra 5 degrees of ignition timing, but i cant see how that would affect clearances within the cylinder.

But if either the cam or the ignition timing will cause any issues, please alert me to them now before i break sometihng.

well i'm not completely sure if this will help or not.. but you say that since its a DD you wanna stay NA?

KA's are perfectly safe to turbo, and can be extremely reliable.. i know plenty of guys that are daily driving their KA-Ts without problems, and you can have quite a nice turbo setup for the same amount if not less than the price of going all N/A on the KA. BTW, boosting the KA has been proven to be more cost effective than going all N/A.

well anyways.. i know that AMS sells pistons.. check them out http://www.turbo240.com

Both CP and Wiseco make high compression pistons for the KA. I got mine from Race Engineering (http://www.raceeng.com). A lot of people have used the stock single cam pistons in the DE to bump the compression ratio up. For NA they should be strong enough.
