SPL Parts

Purchased a Tomei metal headgasket from SPL Parts along with a few OEM gaskets. Excellent customer service and I recieved my order within 3 days. Would highly recommend to others.

I ordered OEM parts from this dealership. The backordered parts took extra time so they sent the order in two parts. They did not charge for the second package. Good service, excellent prices.

Its a good place to get OEM parts below retail if you know the part number.

apturbo - no issues, didn't have to talk to anyone, parts arrived quickly and correctly. that have lots of small high quality oddball parts you may need.- gt28 oil outlet flange- gt28 oil outlet gasket

enjuku - rocks. plus their prices tend to be better than anywhere else, even before the nico discount. teddy takes care of you. I can not emphasize how great the customer service is. - greddy oil pan- hks step 1 cam in- hks step 1 cam out- ER rocker arm stoppers

optionimports - lost my order and could not find me in their system, then they couldn't tell me where my ecu was. does not respond well to email. although i think i am may just a fluke as i have only heard good things about them i am still rather frustraited with them at the moment. I will update this when I get my ECU.- ECU tune

*edit i just got a shipping notification from scott (enthalpy). ECU is on its way and its on its way overnight.

osaka - i had 0 problems from them and i got a great engine with an after market head gasket. issues with my ecu and harness were quickly resolved at no additional cost (asides from shipping the ecu back)- S14 engine ECU and harness

hybriddynamics - quick and correct. Knowledgeable about their products even if it means your going to go with a different product. Was thinking about buying an intake from them, but it would of take to much work to get it to work on the s14.- Silicone Couplings

deatshwerk - rocks. great deals, good product, nice discount. very pleasant to deal with.- Injectors

SPL parts:Been purchasing parts from them since their first shipment of tension rods. A+ guys/service/products/prices. I'm not sure there's a better company around. I just wish they'd sell wholesale.

Enjuku:Have had problems with shipping in the past but they seem to have resolved all those issues recently. I've ordered tons of parts from these guys (from body kits to retainers) in the past. They have great products but save yourself the $60 and go to pepboys if you plan on getting one of their intakes haha. Good prices. Good guys.

Cheapturbo.com:Great guys and great prices. I ordered my turbo/gaskets/flanges through them. I also have one of their Peakboost manifolds. All great stuff.

HPCoatings.com:Got my manifold and turbine coated from these guys. Communication was great although the coating process took a little longer than expected. The end result was worth the wait though...I can't wait until these parts get installed.

JGYcustoms.com:Ordered my cams, cam sprockets, RAS, and other parts from them. I know many people have nothing but bad things to say about this company but my dealings with them were pleasant. The did send me the wrong cams initially but quickly sent the right set while the wrong ones were still in the mail getting sent back to them. I would deal with them again.

Discounttiredirect:FAR better service than Tirerack. Great prices. Shipping is sometimes free. These guys actually listen to what YOU want and will sell you wheel/tire sizes regardless of what their comptuer says. I've ordered a bunch of tires and a set of wheels from these guys.

Phase2motortrend:Lied (over the phone) about having a part in stock and waited over a month for it to ship (can't remember which part - I think it was my Greddy turbo outlet). This was well over a year ago though...things could have changed.

Jspec.com: Fools who think they are demi-gods b/c they can get you "rare" parts directly from Japan. I've tried to order from them multiple times but they tried to rip me off once and patronized me the second.

Heavy Throttle:

Jeff takes care of you. I have ordered stuff, and if things were on backorder, he would either refund you the money or offer a substitute (he'd call you the day after you made the order). Also, I ran into a problem and asked him about it over the phone, even though he just called about my order, and he took the time to help me out. Real good guy. A+ in my book for Customer Service. Also fast shipping (had a small order here within 2 days, and he is on the East Coast, where I am on the West), and pretty decent prices. I'd recommend anyone to Heavy Throttle.

Phase2Motortrend:

They wont call you when something is backordered. I had to call to cancel my order (after over a week waiting for a tracking number). Guys over the phone are corperate friendly, which isn't bad, but not very personal. When they do ship things out on time, I received it fairly quickly (About 4 days). I'd order from them again, if I had to, but not my first choice. I'd give them a C overall.

SPL Parts:

Never had to call them, so I can't comment on personal experience with customer service. However, when I ordered my brake lines, I recieved them within a week. Great product, and good shipping response. I'd give them an A so far.

SPL- Nothin but good stuff to say about these guys. Kept me updated within 24 hours of the parts I had ordered that they were out of stock but would get some within a week.

Courtesy Nissan-Pretty good, but nowhere near as good as they were last year or earlier. Prices have gone up and service down.

Midway Nissan-Mike and the guys at Midway have always been top notch with both prices and service. I'm buying all my oem parts exclusively from them now. Their group buy scored me the kouki's at an awesome price and their prices on the Nismo power brace might as well have been a group buy price without the group buy...

EnjukuI've bought quite a few things from these guys and always great service. Not always the best prices but their service always makes up for it. They also take good care of their repeat customers.

Heavy Throttle-Support for the stuff they sell is the reason why you should buy from them. Very knowledgable about their products although their prices are a bit higher than the bargain basement deals that know nothing about what they're selling. Again, service will make up for it. Seriously.

Phase2motortrend-Lied about having my pistons in stock. Waited another 3 weeks. I should have gone with my gut and gone with Enjuku on that one. Haven't bought anything from them since.

Venus Auto-Awesome if you know what you're looking for. Great local (for me at least) parts dealer and if you know someone there, they will bring out the better stuff for you at much better prices.

ATP Turbo-Another good local (again for me) shop to get my silicone hoses and t-bolt clamps. Threw down a good couple hundred bucks there on just couplers and clamps with 0 regret. Awesome guys with great quality stuff.

TRG Coating-Got my valve cover powder coated from Tom at TRG. Awesome work and fast turn around time.

Horsepower freaks-Hard to find stuff listed and for stuff that's pretty obscure, it got to my door rather quickly. Service was excellent as well.

I'll post more on vendors when I start going through my records.

I must say a couple things about Heavy Throttle and Jeff.

I am an attorney in the New Orleans area and the reason I say that is to let you guys know that I do tons of business with many companies and have had to bring a few to court when issues would arise and they wouldnt stand behind their products. This being said:

I did a lot of research on companies here. After my research I decided to go with Heavy Throttle. I was doing an Sr swap with a turbo upgrade, AT to MT swap, suspension, brakes and rear-end upgrade. Needless to say I was making a huge investment. Was Jeff the cheapest? NO, ebay is the cheapest.... BUT Jeff and Heavy Throttle in my experience was a GREAT VALUE, as in, his prices are right on with enjuku, xat, optionimports, phase2motortrends but the Support and Customer Service he gives in my opinon is matched by none.

I had some issues with the motor when it arrived. It had some damage when delieverd. Jeff helped me with the whole process and always answered or returned my calls. He repalced the damaged parts and worked with me to get the shipping company to pay for the damage.

As stated in the quote above, Heavy Throttle is what Customer Service should be.

I would recommend Jeff and Heavy Throttle to any and everyone.

Wow, this IS an old one!

Seeing this, I might consider making a feedback thread for each vendor!

I try to purchase something from ALL of our approved vendors, just so that I can comment on their process.

Most of the time, I either place an order FOR someone I know (so that the vendor doesn't know they're dealing with the site owner), or I'll simply not mention who I am until it's payment time.

Thus far, I've gotten parts through about 3/4 of our vendors, and have nothing but glowing reviews.

As you guys know, I don't have a problem with calling out a chump vendor if they screw up, but forunately, we haven't had to go there!
