Well then, thanks for the heads up. I figured with all the modern improvements and the cost per GB dropping that storage wouldn't be much of a problem in today's times. I haven't called Infiniti directly yet. It was late Friday night and the main office was obviously closed. I just talked with a buddy of mine that works at the local dealership who said that they apparently purge the system after so many years because the VIN was not recognized when he punched it in. I wasn't sure if maybe they transferred the records to another form of storage off of the main network and that you would have to call to request a record search.
