I just got a 240SX 92 from a friend, and noticed immediatly that the VDO(and heads up disp) will not immediatly show the speed, it takes... awhile...is this a known problem and is there possibly a known solution?

Update: I fidled with the car this morning and noticed that after my usualy (15min) warm up to get my VDOto show the speed on it and the heads-up, that if I turnmy lights on that it will dim them both the the point ofno visibility. I understand that it will dim slightly whenI turn the lights on due to power redirection but....

That was a little much. Could it be I have a fuse blownsomwhere? Timing Control out? Any ideas, ANYone?

could be something as simple as the lighting on the inside of the pod for the speedo beginning to go out. Sorry I'm not of too much help on the issue but I haven't dealt with too many HUD's.
