Hey Guys,

When would you want the Vehicle Dynamic Control System off.

Why would you have a switch to turn it off? Should it just be left on?

Thanks,

Geoff

Personally, I feel the VDC is intrusive. So, I always have it OFF for the most part (95% of the time). But in the rain, as the manual suggests, and as i can personally testify, please, please, please, leave the VDC ON.

Generally, your driving style, how you think the car should feel, etc, should determine if you leave the VDC ON or OFF.

I have the VDC off in dry conditions a lot of the time. It allows you to control the car how you want and to let the tires break loose when you want.

Like Jacko, I leave the VDC on in the rain ALL the time. In the snow sometimes I will turn VDC off just for initial take off, til about 10 mph, then i turn it right back on.

I generally leave it on all the time, as I don't normally throw my car to the point where it would kick in.

In snow, I turn it off - I want to be able to control my wheelspin.

Off most of the time. Only on when it is really icy. But I sggest you try it without the VDC before you push it to hard on the road. You have to know your car and its limit. Find a parking lot and play with her a little to find out what and where is the limit.

If you plan to take VDC off make sure you have good tires. Also check them often. Constant wheel spin will eat your tires away. You dont want to be caught in a 300 hp car going around a turn with vdc off and bald tires. You or your car will get hurt. Hopefully no one gets seriously injured.

I was lucky. But curbs hurt.

These bars are from my rear driver side tire. They are what keep tires aligned. They are supposed to be straight. Luckily I was able to fix this problem my self.
